Building muscle quickly
Think it’s easy to start building muscle quickly? If the answer was yes then you may be in for a big surprise! In order to quickly build muscle you must first have a game plan. Just like anything in life without a plan you are setting yourself up for disaster! In this article I’m going to help you with that plan by giving you 3 simple steps to start building muscle quickly.
Step # 1- Write down some goals
By writing down some goals you want to accomplish building muscle quickly will come a lot easier for you. When I first started I wrote down just a couple of simple ones that I knew I could accomplish in a short amount of time. For instance:
a) Increase my bulk by 2% in 2 weeks
b) Change my eating habits
By setting goals and posting them on my wall I was able to stay focused on what I wanted to accomplish.
Step # 2- Change Your Eating Habits
The second step to start building muscle quickly is to change your eating habits. If you are like me just starting out I thought that by eating alot of high protein was enough to bulk me up. Well, that is true but you want to also add some complex carbs like fresh fruit into this diet. By combining protein and carbs together you will be able to feed your muscle what they need to rebuild after a workout session and you won’t be in danger of adding fat as well.
Step # 3- Don’t Forget About Cardio
When first starting out you should concentrate on lifting weights about 3 to 4 times per week. But, don’t forget to add some cardio into your plan on the off days. By doing some walking, running or light jogging during your off days will help assist in keeping the possibility of fat build up from happening.
