Is it possible to lose muscle without loseing weight?

Is it possible to lose muscle without losing weight? Also is it possible to gain a significant amout of body fat in one day of bingeing? I feeel like I lost muscle but my trainer at the gym said I didnt. He said sometimes you can go in and feel weak and sometimes you can be at your peak lifting heavy. He said thats just how it is.
Also I have been geting tired and a bit weaker could it be because I havent been following my body building diet to the t? Like im talking about just haveing some carrots in between the snack and my meal cause I got really hungry,

You don’t believe your trainer so you are asking here. If you don’t have confidence in your trainer you should find another one that can inspire you.

Of course it’s possible to lose muscle without losing weight. You gain fat. Duh. At the same time, one day of anything-binging or eating well and working out–will have no long term effect.

i found a couple things can lead to poor gym performance. 1- not eating enough calories/ carbs.. 2- not enough sleep..3- not enough rest between workouts / overtraining. generally, i tend to undereat on the weekends because of a busy schedule. on monday, when i get back to the gym, i feel weak if i didnt eat enough the past day or 2.. every day in the gym will not be your best day, that is how it is, but by addressing the 3 things i mentioned, you may be able to eliminate some of your bad gym days. good luck and keep lifting!!

Its possible, but it depends on your type of workout. for instance, if you train with a lot of heavy weights and then switch over to a calisthenics routine for a period ot time, you could possibley lose some muscle mass.
On being tired, you may not be giving yourself enough recovery time. you have to give your system enough recoup. time, if not, youre continuesly tearing yourself down.
Diets do not mean starvation and or hunger. Its the body’s fuel for health ( your diet may be playing a part in your feeling tired ) You cant put a dollars worth of gas in your car and execept to drive 200 miles. A well balanced diet with varity will help. Fruits, vegetables ( yellow and green ), grains, healthy protiens, etc. Lay low on fatty and junk food. Plenty of healty nourishing recipes out there.
